Sideband will give a tour of some of the group's favorite tools and techniques in electronic ensemble music making. We'll explore code and compositions for pieces by Anne Hege, Daniel Iglesia, Davis Polito, Jascha Narveson, Jeff Snyder, Lainie Fefferman, Seth Cluett, as well as discussing collaborative experiences with acoustic musicians in the past. Those in attendance will be invited to interact with code and controllers to give a sense of empowerment and possibility within the world of laptop music.
